Day 20: Sometimes it's the Small Things...

I was able to walk the Brooklyn Bridget the last time I was in NYC. It is an amazing piece of structure and the history behind it is fantastic. I took about two rolls worth just walking across to Brooklyn and back.

The cable lines, the height and distance were all accounted for. However, it wasn't until I took this shot did I get that satisfied feeling you get when you know you took a shot you really care about.

The city is captured, but is not focused and you are able to see the wear and tear over time this bridge has endured. It's so easy for us to see the overall big picture, but sometimes, just getting down to the details is just as beautiful.
