Day 52: Origami Folding

(Westminster, October 2009) 

I worked on some origami last night as props for my CD cover photo shoot. I think I only folded a crane once in my life and that was when I was 8 years old. I pulled out my Japanese Paper Art book and got to work.

There were many half folded cranes and flowers because I could not figure out the folding for a while. After a few failed attempts, I made my first crane, then flower and I was folding like a pro before the end of the night.

I'm excited to see how this will look once it comes together.
